Braised zucchini with tomatoes and bacon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 zucchinis
  • 5 small tomatoes
  • 50 g ham, (ham), in slices or cubes
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herb(s) (spring herbs)
  • garlic powder
  • chili powder
  • some water, maybe

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Slice the zucchini and fry lightly in a pot or pan with a little oil until the slices appear slightly translucent in the center. Season generously with salt, pepper, and herbs, and perhaps garlic and chili. Slice the tomatoes and add them along with the ham. Fry lightly, adding a little water if necessary (maximum 1-2 tablespoons). Serve warm. Goes well with meat, but can also be eaten on bread.
