Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 5 bratwursts (Thuringian)
  • 3 small flatbreads
  • e.g. salad
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • n. B. Sauce, mustard, mayonnaise, horseradish, ketchup,…
  • some fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

simple, fast, cheap

Remove the casings from the sausages and grate them with a vegetable peeler. Slice the tomato and onion. Wash and dry the lettuce, and tear it into smaller pieces if necessary. Preheat the oven. Fry the sausage shavings in a pan with a little fat until crispy, then warm the flatbread in the oven. Add all the ingredients to the flatbread and enjoy. I had a version with lettuce, tomato, onion, horseradish, and sweet mustard. Another was with mayonnaise and curry ketchup. There are no limits to your creativity.
