  • 150 g rye flour
  • 350 g wheat flour
  • ½ pack of yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 350 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • Salt
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quick and easy

Combine the water, apple cider vinegar, salt, and yeast in a bowl, stirring with a wooden spoon. Knead with the flour to form a dough and place in a greased baking pan, or form a loaf and place on a baking sheet. Place the bread in a cold oven and bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 1 hour. Brush the bread with a little salt water every now and then to achieve a nice brown and crispy crust. This process can be repeated several times. Then let it cool in the oven for 10 minutes. Tip: Use other types of flour or vary the proportions of each type of flour if desired. Nuts or other seeds can be added according to taste.
