Bread dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 rolls, stale
  • some salt
  • ½ liter milk, lukewarm
  • 3 eggs
  • some parsley
  • possibly breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the rolls into thin slices. Pour the lukewarm milk over them and let them sit. Finely chop the parsley and mix it with the eggs. Add everything to the rolls and knead into a dough. If the dough is too soft, add a few more breadcrumbs. Now, with wet hands, form dumplings and place them in boiling salted water. Simmer gently for about 15 minutes.
