Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 rolls
- 200 g smoked salmon
- 3 shallots, fresh with green
- 200 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- some oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
In a large bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and oil, along with a pinch each of pepper and salt, and whisk together. Dice the bread rolls, slice the salmon, and slice the shallots. Add them to the egg mixture and mix well. Meanwhile, fill a medium-sized pot with water and bring to a boil. Divide the dumpling mixture between 3-4 cotton napkins or towels, roll them up tightly, and wrap them up. Place the parcels in the boiling water and cook the dumplings for about 20 minutes over medium heat. Serve with some cream cheese.
