Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 500 ml water, warm
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 kg flour (type 405)
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 8 tbsp oil (not olive oil)
  • 1 egg(s) for brushing
  • some milk
  • n. B. grains (e.g. sesame, poppy, sunflower seeds)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

delicious – easy to bake

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Knead in the flour, salt, and oil thoroughly, then let the dough rise for half an hour. Knead thoroughly again. Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Shape the dough into rolls weighing approximately 40g and place them in a sun-shaped pattern on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk the egg with the milk and brush the rolls with it. Sprinkle with seeds (e.g. sesame, poppy, sunflower seeds) as desired. Bake for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
