Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 slices of toast
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • some nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the bread into small cubes and toast in a non-stick pan without oil for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, crack the eggs in a bowl. Add the sunflower oil, season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Pour the egg mixture onto the bread and fry for about 5 minutes until crispy, turning several times. Serve with ketchup, if desired.
