Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g flour
  • 80 g mountain cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • pepper
  • 60 g blue cheese (Roquefort)
  • ½ tsp herbs de Provence
  • 120 ml olive oil
  • 100 ml milk
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

as a side dish or amuse gueule

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly mix everything except the oil, milk, and eggs. Then beat the oil, milk, and eggs together and mix with the solid ingredients. Pour the batter into a loaf pan lined with baking paper and bake for about 35-40 minutes. Tip: You can experiment with this recipe a bit and, for example, stir in dried, chopped tomatoes or add chopped nuts, as you like. The Roquefort and herbs can also be replaced with other soft cheeses and herbs, but the other ingredients should be left as they are.
