Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g celeriac
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Oil (sunflower oil) as needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the celery and cut into slices approximately 1-2 cm thick. Cook in the vegetable broth for about 5 minutes. Drain, reserving the broth. Let the celery slices cool. Then sprinkle sparingly with the seasoning. Dip in the beaten egg, then in the breadcrumbs, and fry in sunflower oil until golden brown on both sides.
