Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 1 egg(s)
- 3 tbsp milk
- 6 tbsp heaped breadcrumbs
- 6 tbsp, heaped flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Halve the mozzarella balls and cut into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Whisk the milk and egg together and pour onto a plate. Also, prepare a plate of flour and a plate of breadcrumbs. Now, first coat the mozzarella slices in the flour, then in the egg-milk mixture, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Place the almost-finished mozzarella balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 160°C for approximately 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Serve with basil, if desired.
