  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Breadcrumbs (ready breading)
  • e.g. rapeseed oil
  • 1 slice(s) of processed cheese of your choice
  • n. B. Peas, frozen, approx. 1 – 1.5 handfuls
  • e.g. vegetable broth
  • 1 small potato(s), very finely chopped
  • a little dried meat, diced
  • little sauce thickener
  • e.g. chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

simply

Pound the schnitzel, season with salt and pepper, and bread it (for one schnitzel, I use ready-made breading; otherwise, use flour, egg, and breadcrumbs = breading line). Sear the schnitzel in rapeseed oil. Then remove it from the pan and place it in the preheated oven at 80°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. Turn off the oven and let it rest for a while, while you do this, place a slice of processed cheese on top. While the schnitzel is in the oven, cook the peas in vegetable stock. Add the very finely chopped potato and some cubes of jerked meat. Thicken with a little sauce thickener if desired. Sprinkle with some chives, and you’re done.
