Breakfast: Cherry Porridge
The perfect breakfast: cherry porridge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the topping:
- 250 ml Milk
- 10 Pc. Cherries
- 1 tbsp Nut butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract or 1 pinch of fresh vanilla
- 1 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Cocoa nibs
- 1 Handful Cherries
- Bring the oatmeal and milk to the boil in a saucepan and then simmer for a few minutes over low heat. Cut the pitted cherries into small pieces and stir in with maple syrup, nut butter and vanilla extract. Let simmer for another 4 minutes.
- Arrange in two bowls and sprinkle with cocoa nibs and halved cherries. Dust with a little cinnamon if you like.
