Breakfast: Cherry Porridge

The perfect breakfast: cherry porridge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the topping:

  • 250 ml Milk
  • 10 Pc. Cherries
  • 1 tbsp Nut butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract or 1 pinch of fresh vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa nibs
  • 1 Handful Cherries
  1. Bring the oatmeal and milk to the boil in a saucepan and then simmer for a few minutes over low heat. Cut the pitted cherries into small pieces and stir in with maple syrup, nut butter and vanilla extract. Let simmer for another 4 minutes.
  2. Arrange in two bowls and sprinkle with cocoa nibs and halved cherries. Dust with a little cinnamon if you like.
