Breakfast: Creamy Millet Porridge with Pears

for the pear compote
- 200 ml Oat milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 0,5 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp White chia seeds
- 2 tsp Poppy seeds at will
- 1 Pc. Large ripe pear
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 pinch Cardamom at will
- Bring the millet flakes, oat milk and a pinch of salt to the boil in a small saucepan and then simmer over a low heat for a few minutes. Stir in vanilla. When the millet porridge has become nice and creamy and the liquid has been absorbed, remove it from the heat and stir in the chia seeds and poppy seeds.
- Peel and dice the pear and simmer briefly in a pan with lemon juice. Remove from heat, stir in honey and cardamom. Spread over the millet porridge.
