Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g chopped nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, others)
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 minute; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 16 minutes

Almond brittle, hazelnut brittle

Melt the butter and sugar in a nonstick pan. Add the chopped nuts. Stir continuously (the hotter it gets, the more you’ll need to stir) until lightly browned. Remove from the heat and let cool while stirring, otherwise it may become lumpy.
