Broad beans with beef

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g beans (green beans), fresh or frozen
  • 500 g goulash (beef)
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 beefsteak tomatoes, very ripe
  • 4 large potatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Braise the meat in a little heated olive oil in a pan until the liquid has evaporated. Then brown the meat lightly. Wash the tomatoes and grate them into the meat. Trim the parsley and peel the onion. Finely chop both and add them to the pan with the ingredients. Peel and quarter the potatoes, and add them. Finally, trim the beans (thaw frozen ones) and add them as well. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
