Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 broccoli, the stalk
- ½ cup flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs, e.g. B. Panko
- ½ cup plant milk (plant drink), e.g. oat milk, almond milk, etc.
- some salt and pepper and spices as desired
- Oil for frying
Instructions

Peel the broccoli stalk and cut into sticks. Prepare two shallow bowls or plates. Add the flour to the first bowl and then the plant-based milk. Mix well until a smooth paste forms. Add the breadcrumbs to the second bowl. If desired, mix the breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, and other seasonings of your choice. First coat the broccoli sticks in the flour-plant-based milk paste and then roll them in the breadcrumbs to coat them completely. Heat a pan with oil and fry the breaded broccoli sticks until golden brown and crispy on all sides, or alternatively, line a baking sheet with baking paper. Place the breaded broccoli sticks on the baking sheet and bake at 200°C (convection oven) for approximately 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Arrange the breaded broccoli sticks on a plate and serve with a dip, such as sour cream or sriracha mayo, if desired.
