Broccoli with kumquats

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g broccoli, divided into florets
  • salt water
  • 150 g kumquat(s), halved lengthwise
  • 150g Gorgonzola
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • Pepper from the mill
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Vegetables with a difference

Blanch the broccoli in salted water for about 8 minutes. Drain and let it drain well. Layer the drained broccoli with the halved kumquats in a buttered casserole dish and season with pepper and nutmeg. Sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola over the vegetables. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) and broil for 3-5 minutes. Serve with salmon, for example.
