Broccoli with pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 large onion(s), red
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 250 g pasta
  • 100 ml milk
  • ½ tsp vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean the broccoli and separate the florets. Finely dice the onions. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the boiling water, then add the pasta and broccoli. After about 2 minutes, skim the broccoli and place it in a colander. Cook the pasta until al dente, then tip it into the colander over the broccoli. Briefly dry the inside of the pot with a kitchen towel or tea towel, then add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pot. Fry the diced onions until translucent. Add the crème fraîche and milk to the onions. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and vegetable stock powder, and stir well. Add the pasta and broccoli to the sauce, stir well, and heat briefly.
