Brownie Christmas cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 80 g butter, melted
  • 100 g flour
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

makes 30 – 35 cookies

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Chop the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler. Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Stir in the chocolate and butter. Combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt, add to the mixture, and stir briefly. Add the chopped walnuts. Use a teaspoon to place small heaps of the mixture, approximately 4 cm in diameter, onto a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C on the middle rack for 10-12 minutes. The cookies will still be soft and will harden as they cool. This recipe yields 30-35 cookies.
