Bruschetta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 large slices of baguette or ciabatta
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 buffalo mozzarella
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • a few stalks of basil
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the tomatoes and toss with chopped garlic and basil. Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Fry the baguette slices in a pan with a little olive oil until golden brown on each side. Top the baguette with some mozzarella and spread the tomato mixture on top. Serve the bruschetta on a plate with some basil and serve immediately.
