Crostini with avocado cream and prosciutto

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 farmer’s baguette
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • ½ lime(s), juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • some pepper
  • 5 g basil
  • 25 g Parmesan
  • 70 g raw ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Halve the avocado lengthwise and scoop out the pit. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place it in a blender. Add the lime juice, olive oil, salt, basil, and pepper and blend everything until smooth. Shave a few Parmesan shavings for a topping, then finely grate the rest and add. Cut the baguette into 1.5 cm thick slices and fry in a non-stick pan without oil until golden brown on both sides. Finally, spread each crostini with the avocado cream and top with the ham slices. Garnish with the Parmesan shavings. If desired, drizzle with some balsamic vinegar.
