Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 100 g mozzarella, grated
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Thyme
  • rosemary
  • oregano
  • pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

White bread with tomatoes and cheese

Remove the stems from the tomatoes and cut the flesh into small cubes. Mix with olive oil, add spices to taste, and season to taste. Spread the mixture on slices of white bread, sprinkle with cheese, and melt the cheese in the oven at medium heat until it turns golden brown. Garnish the tomato mixture with mushrooms or fruit. Serve hot.
