Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg Brussels sprouts
- 250 ml milk, cold
- 75 g butter
- 20 g flour
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cook the Brussels sprouts in lightly salted water for 20 minutes, drain, rinse with cold water, and reserve some of the water. Heat the butter, sprinkle with flour, stirring constantly, then slowly stir in the cold milk and season with the cooking water, depending on how thin you want the sprouts to be. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Great with potatoes and stir-fries.
