Brussels Sprouts Vegetables
The perfect brussels sprouts vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Brussels sprouts fresh
- 30 g Diced Bacon
- 1 small Onion red
- 20 g Butter
- 2 tsp Flour
- 300 ml Vegetable broth
- 30 g Dried tomatoes
- 0,5 bunch Chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Nutmeg
- Clean the Brussels sprouts, cut in half and cook the vegetable stock for about 6-8 minutes. Peel the onion and finely dice. Sauté the bacon and the onion in the butter until translucent.
- Drain the Brussels sprouts, collect the stock. Dust the flour over the bacon and onion mixture and sweat briefly. Deglaze with the Brussels sprouts stock and cook for about 5 minutes. Cut the dried tomatoes into strips with the parsley and Brussels sprouts in the sauce. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg . Mashed potatoes go well with it.
