Brussels Sprouts Vegetables

The perfect brussels sprouts vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Brussels sprouts fresh
  • 30 g Diced Bacon
  • 1 small Onion red
  • 20 g Butter
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • 300 ml Vegetable broth
  • 30 g Dried tomatoes
  • 0,5 bunch Chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg
  1. Clean the Brussels sprouts, cut in half and cook the vegetable stock for about 6-8 minutes. Peel the onion and finely dice. Sauté the bacon and the onion in the butter until translucent.
  2. Drain the Brussels sprouts, collect the stock. Dust the flour over the bacon and onion mixture and sweat briefly. Deglaze with the Brussels sprouts stock and cook for about 5 minutes. Cut the dried tomatoes into strips with the parsley and Brussels sprouts in the sauce. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg . Mashed potatoes go well with it.
