Brussels sprouts with bacon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 250 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 ml cream
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Trim the Brussels sprouts, cut a cross in the stem, and boil them in a little water for about 8 minutes. Sauté the bacon and onions and deglaze with 150 ml of cream. Place the Brussels sprouts in an ovenproof dish and pour the cream over them. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes (until the cheese melts and is crispy).
