Brussels Sprouts with Difference

The perfect brussels sprouts with difference recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Fat bacon
  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts fresh
  • Salt pepper
  • Granular broth
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 cups Cream
  1. Cut the bacon and the onions into small cubes. Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut into fine strips with a cucumber slicer. If the stalk stays on, you have a better “tackle” when planing.
  2. Leave out the bacon and sauté the onions until translucent, add the Brussels sprouts and cook for about 5 minutes. Now stir in the flour, add the cream and mix in well. Season to taste with salt, pepper and granulated broth and bring everything to the boil briefly.
  3. One or two tips: 1. Instead of fat bacon, of course mixed bacon is also possible. 2. Instead of cream you can also use sour cream, then you don’t have to add so much cornstarch.
