Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 small chicken wings
  • 125 g margarine
  • 80 ml Tabasco
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 5 tsp garlic, grated
  • ½ tbsp basil
  • ¼ tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp sage
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup (spiced ketchup)
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 50 g crème fraîche
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 150 g natural yogurt
  • 100 g blue cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 2 days 1 hour 15 minutes

Spicy chicken wings

First, wash and dry the wings. Cook them in the oven at 200°C until golden brown. Combine the marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix. Place the wings in a baking dish and brush with the marinade. Cover completely with the remaining marinade. Let them sit for 24 hours, then grill or oven-bake until crisp and golden brown. Be careful, though: they’re extremely spicy. The marinade can also be made with 125 ml of Tabasco, but that’s only for die-hard fans. Blue Cheese Dip: For the dip, mash the cheese with a fork and simply stir in the other ingredients. For the dip, use thick strips of celery and carrots. (This reduces the spiciness.)
