Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g bacon
  • 200 g onion(s)
  • 300 g lamb (preferably mutton)
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • Salt
  • 500 ml meat broth
  • 300 g rice
  • 5 tbsp cheese (shipka or other sheep cheese), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fry the diced bacon with grated onions until light golden brown, then add the coarsely diced meat, seasoned with salt and paprika. Sauté for 10 to 15 minutes, then add the broth, add the washed rice, and let it cook, covered. Sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
