Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 50 g lean bacon
- 2 small onions
- 200 g pork schnitzel
- 8 tbsp sauerkraut
- 4 potatoes
- 1 liter of broth
- Salt
- marjoram
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 4 tbsp sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Fry the bacon cubes until translucent. Sauté the onion cubes. Dice the meat and potatoes. Add the meat, sauerkraut, potatoes, broth, spices, and paprika to the pot. Bring everything to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes. Season to taste. Add sour cream to the bowl, if desired. Pour the soup over the soup.
