Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g beef (roast beef in one piece, it can also be other beef)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp white wine
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Beef marinated Korean style

Slice the meat 1-2 mm thin against the grain. Finely chop the leek and onion, grate the garlic, and add to the meat. Mix everything well and let it sit in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Fry in a hot pan until cooked through. Side dishes: rice, kimchi, and optionally vegetables (e.g., soybean sprouts and bamboo shoots, seasoned with a little soy sauce and sesame oil).
