Bulgur / Millet Salad

The perfect bulgur / millet salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Fine millet
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Turkish hot pepper pulp
  • 5 Green peppers / pointed peppers
  • 1 bunch Flat leaf parsley
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 bunch Spring onions
  • 3 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Pomegranate syrup
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • Salt
  1. Pour hot water over the bulgur / millet in a bowl, stir and let stand covered for 15 minutes.
  2. Chop the tomatoes, onions and pointed peppers to taste, cut the green from the spring onions into rings and chop the parsley.
  3. When the bulk is well drawn, add the tomatoes and pepper pulp, add salt and knead well with your hands for approx. 3-5 minutes.
  4. Now add the vegetables and mix the mixture well. Pour in the syrup and oil, stir and mix in the chopped parsley.
  5. Taste and enjoy 🙂
