Bulgur sucuk pan

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large sucuk (garlic sausage)
  • some oil
  • 150 g bulgur
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 sprig of mint
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

also tastes good cold as a salad

Peel the sucuk and cut into small cubes. Roast in a little oil. Add the bulgur and toast briefly. Add water and let the bulgur swell. Dice the bell pepper and feta cheese, and chop the mint and parsley. Add everything to the pan once the bulgur has absorbed the water. Continue sautéing briefly until the bell pepper pieces are cooked but still firm to the bite. Season with lemon juice. Delicious hot or cold.
