Burger Bun

The perfect burger bun recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For baking

  • 150 g Water
  • 100 g Milk
  • 40 g Yeast fresh
  • 10 g Sugar
  • 7 g Salt
  • 1 Egg

Optional

  • Sesame
  • Cheese
  1. Knead the ingredients for the dough with a kneading machine for 5 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise for 30 minutes, knead again briefly. Now divide into 8 parts with approx. 88g. Shape the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. When all are shaped, press them a little flat with your fingertips. Cover and let rest for another 30 minutes
  2. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top / bottom heat in between. After 30 minutes, stir the egg in a bowl and brush the burger dough on top. Bake in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes.
  3. If you want, you can sprinkle the rolls with sesame, cheese or whatever you like before baking. The recipe is enough for 4-8 people. Good Appetite
