Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 large egg(s)
- 10 g salt
- 40 g sugar
- 230 ml water
- 500 g Flour Type 405
- 1 packet of dry yeast or 0.5 cube of fresh yeast
- 45 g butter, soft
- 35 g milk powder
- 1 small egg(s)
- sesame
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
with milk powder
Gently knead the dough ingredients for 3 minutes, then for another 5 minutes at a slightly higher speed to allow the gluten structure to develop. Let it rise for 1 hour. Divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces (approx. 80 g each), gently knead them into a ball, pressing the sides inwards. This ensures that the rolls rise. Gently flatten the dough pieces and let them rise under cling film for another 30 minutes. Then brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the rolls at 180°C for approx. 15-20 minutes, depending on the desired degree of browning.
