Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 25 g honey
  • 15 g tomato paste
  • 25 g mustard
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 10 g onion(s), diced
  • some tomato(s), dried
  • 10 g gherkins, diced
  • salt and pepper
  • some chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Sauté the onions and tomatoes until translucent. Combine the honey, mustard, and tomato paste in a tall bowl, add half the oil, and blend thoroughly with a hand blender, gradually adding more oil until a smooth sauce forms (add more or less oil to taste). Blend the gherkins, onions, and tomatoes, add to the sauce, and blend again. Season to taste with chili, salt, and pepper.
