Burnt semolina soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • butter
  • 50 g semolina
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 cube of stock
  • vegetable broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt some butter in a saucepan, then add the semolina and toast it until lightly browned (the darker the better, but don’t let it burn). Then add the water and bring to a boil. Add a stock cube and season with a little vegetable stock. Let it simmer until the semolina has puffed up.
