Butter beans with tomatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g green beans, frozen
  • 2 sprigs savory
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 150 g vine tomatoes, small
  • 30 g butter
  • parsley for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Supplement

Blanch the beans with 1 teaspoon of salt and savory in boiling water for about 8 minutes, then drain and refresh in ice-cold water. Peel and dice the shallots and garlic. Rinse the tomatoes and halve them. Melt the butter in a pan, sauté the shallots and garlic until translucent, add the tomatoes, and stir in the beans. Cook briefly over low heat until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
