Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 kg carrot(s)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 liter of salt water
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Peel the carrots, quarter them, and cut them into long pieces. Cook them in salted water until al dente. Drain the salted water well, melt the butter in the hot carrots, and season with maple syrup, parsley, salt, and pepper. Let the butter, syrup, and spices soak in for about 10 minutes, or keep warm until ready to serve.
