Cabbage strudel

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large white cabbage
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 large onion(s), chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pack of strudel sheets
  • breadcrumbs
  • n. B. Caraway

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Salt finely chopped cabbage, press together, and let marinate for at least 2 hours. Melt the sugar in the bacon cubes, sauté the onion, add the cabbage, and sauté until soft, stirring frequently. Let cool. Meanwhile, roll out a strudel dough and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Mix the sour cream with caraway seeds. Spread the cabbage on the dough and cover with the sour cream. Roll up the dough, tuck in the ends, and place it on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C until golden brown.
