  • 500 g shrimp(s), frozen
  • 2 bell peppers
  • a few stalks of celery
  • 2 onions, red
  • n. B. spice mix (Cajun spice)
  • 2 cups of cream, 200 ml each
  • 400 g pasta
  • some Parmesan
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta and drain. Meanwhile, slice the onions into half rings and sauté them with the shrimp in olive oil until lightly browned. Then season with 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning. If the shrimp lose too much liquid, skim it off. Remove the onions and shrimp from the pan. Clean the celery and bell peppers and cut them into bite-sized, thin strips. Lightly sauté them in the same pan in olive oil, then deglaze with the cream. Cover the pan and simmer over low heat until the vegetables are tender. Add 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning and a generous portion of Parmesan cheese and mix well. Add the onions, shrimp, and pasta to the pan and season to taste with Parmesan and Cajun seasoning. Tip: You can add back any liquid you skimmed off the shrimp if you like.
