Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter, beaten until fluffy
- 400 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 500 g natural yogurt
- 450 g flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 jar of jam of your choice (at least 250g)
- 200 g chocolate coating, dark or cooking chocolate, chopped
- 70 g butter

This amount is for one baking tray; for a tart tin, please use half the amount! In a large bowl, mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, and lightly beaten butter. Stir in the yogurt. Sift the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt and stir into the mixture. Bake on the middle rack at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool, and spread with jam. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a warm oven or in a water bath. Smooth the chocolate glaze over the jam using a pastry scraper or a long knife. Tip: If you don’t have any yogurt at home, the cake also works well with buttermilk.
