- 125 grams of flour
- A large pinch of baking powder
- A cake pop pan
Bake cake pops – that’s how it works
- Put the butter and sugar in a bowl. Mix both with the hand mixer until a foamy mass is formed.
- Add the eggs and mix again.
- Mix the baking powder with the flour and sift both into the dough. Mix again until the batter is nice and smooth and free of lumps.
- Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake the cake pops at 160 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- Allow the mini cakes to cool before sticking them onto the sticks and decorating. Tip: Dip the stick in melted chocolate before inserting – this will make the cake pops last better.
When it has to be quick – the cake pops without baking
If an unforeseen visitor has announced, there is often not enough time to bake a cake. In this case, you can use ready-made cake batter.
- If you have a light or dark ready-made biscuit base or alternatively a sponge cake without glaze at home, crumble it very finely. The easiest and quickest way to do this is in a food processor.
- Now mix the crumbs with 60 grams of soft butter, 60 grams of powdered sugar, and 150 grams of cream cheese.
- Form small balls of the dough with your hands and let them set in the fridge for half an hour. Put the balls on sticks and decorate them as you wish.
