Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of vanilla pudding
  • 500 ml milk
  • 40 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 tbsp water, warm
  • 130 g sugar
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp, leveled baking powder
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 300 g berries, mixed, frozen, possibly more

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Make a vanilla pudding with the milk and sugar according to the package instructions and set aside. For the base, beat 4 eggs and 5 tablespoons of warm water until frothy. Beat in 130 grams of sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar. Slowly add 100 grams of wheat flour and 2 level tablespoons of baking powder. Fold in 150 grams of the vanilla pudding and mix again. Pour the batter into a dish, scatter the frozen berries on top and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the topping: Whisk together the remaining vanilla pudding, 2 cups of sour cream and 2 packets of vanilla sugar until smooth. Spread the topping over the baked cake base. Or for a layered dessert in a glass, add 1 layer of base, 1 layer of topping, 1 layer of base, 1 layer of topping and finally add a few berries as decoration.
