Fish burger with trout patty

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 600 g trout fillet(s) without bones
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp herbal salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 small shallot(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 small bunch of chives
  • 6 burger buns
  • 12 lettuce leaves
  • 12 tsp tartar sauce
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trout fish cakes

Mix the fish fillet with all the other ingredients and mince it. If you can’t find fillets, you can also use whole trout and cut them up. Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties and fry or grill them in a hot pan or grill until golden brown on both sides. When they’re done, set them aside and squeeze just a little lemon juice onto each patty. Cut open the burger buns and toast them on both sides. Spread the remoulade sauce on the top and bottom of the burgers and place a lettuce leaf and the patty on top.
