Calamari and Crab
The perfect calamari and crab recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Calamari
- 200 g Crabs
- 400 g Sieved tomatos
- 1 size Shallot
- 2 Toes Garlic
- 6 Branches Fresh thyme
- Salt, pepper, sugar
- 1 Cup Rice
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 shot Pastis aniseed schnapps
- 1 shot Chives fresh
- Clean the calamari and wash it with the crabs. Drain well. Finely dice shallot and garlic. Slice the chives thinly and pluck the thyme. Wash rice and add 3 cups of water.
- Fry the shallot, then add the tomato paste and fry as well. Add the calamari and shrimp. Deglaze with a small dash of pastis and let it boil a little. Then pour the tomatoes into the sauce and add the chives, thyme and the garlic. Season with salt, pepper and a little sugar.
- While doing this, cook the rice. If you want, you can pimp the whole thing with some chilli! Good Appetite!
