Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 tsp Bourbon vanilla powder
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 50 ml milk
- 3 medium-sized egg yolks
- 30 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 cl Calvados
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Bring the cream to a boil with the milk, Bourbon vanilla, and Calvados. In a second saucepan, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Pour the hot milk into the egg yolks. Stir over medium heat (do not let it boil!) until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy. Strain through a fine sieve into a bowl and serve.
