Vanilla sauce with Brie

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 400 ml milk, 3.5% fat
  • 100 ml cream
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Brie(s)
  • 10 g cornstarch (potato or corn starch)
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 cl cognac

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

The classic vanilla sauce with a special touch!

1. Cut the Brie into small pieces, then add all ingredients—except the cream and cornstarch—to a saucepan and stir until the Brie is mostly dissolved. 2. Strain the mixture through a sieve and return it to the saucepan. 3. Combine the cream and cornstarch and add it to the saucepan. Stir well over medium heat until it forms a smooth sauce. 4.
