Canapés with Parma ham and melon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 slice(s) bread(s) , (wheat bread)
  • 40 g butter
  • 5 slice(s) Parma ham, thin
  • ½ small melon(s)
  • Pepper, freshly ground white

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Using a round cutter (approx. 4 cm in diameter), cut out 10 slices from the bread. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the slices until golden brown on both sides. Drain on kitchen paper and let cool. Halve the ham slices lengthwise, fold the slices together slightly, and top the bread slices with them. Deseed the melon and use a potato scooper to cut 10 balls out of the flesh. Place one ball on each slice of ham and sprinkle with pepper.
