Cannelloni with minced meat and feta cheese filling

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 cannelloni
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 6 tbsp ajvar
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • basil
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pack of processed cheese
  • 100 ml cream
  • 50 ml water
  • 150 g grated cheese (gratin cheese)
  • 50 ml white wine
  • n. B. Sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely dice the onion and garlic and fry in a little olive oil until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Deglaze with a little water. Add the tomato paste and 4 tablespoons of ajvar, as well as the paprika, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper. Let it cool slightly and then fold in the finely diced feta. Fill the cannelloni with the mixture and place it in a baking dish. Bring the white wine, cream, and water to a boil in a saucepan and stir in the cream cheese. Thicken with a little sauce thickener if necessary and pour the sauce over the cannelloni until they are almost covered. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Then sprinkle the gratin cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
