Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 115 g butter, soft
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp, heaped instant coffee powder
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 40 g cherry(s), candied, chopped
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl. Cream the softened butter with the sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Stir in the flour mixture with the coffee powder and almonds. Finally, add the chopped cherries and stir in. Take 22g pieces of dough, shape them into balls, and place them on the baking sheets. Bake in the hot oven for approx. 18-20 minutes. Then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack. Finally, dust with powdered sugar.
